SLICC
A 501(c)(3) public charity incorporated in Georgia, is 100% staffed by volunteers, formally known as
'Saving Lives In Chatham County, Inc.' and dedicated to reducing death and disability from cardiac arrest and stroke.

At least one in ten of you, in your lifetime, will see a family member, friend, or acquaintance have a cardiac arrest.

If you wait for the ambulance to start CPR, the outlook is bleak - about a 10% average survival rate in the USA.

You can increase that person's cardiac arrest survival odds from 10% to 60% by defibrillating within three minutes of the arrest!

If you could immediately and continuously receive two inch chest compressions at a rate of 100 per minute with full recoil, your chances would soar, but few people can administer that quality of CPR at all, let alone for the time it will take the ambulance crew to get there.
